Superb rooftop bar access

We loved our recent stay, especially the breathtaking views from the rooftop restaurant and the amazing relaxation by the outdoor swimming pool. Just a heads up, the breakfast rush meant we waited about 20 minutes to sit down, but it was totally worth it! 😊

A delightful breakfast surprise

The heated outdoor pool was a treat for the family after a long journey. The staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing us early check-in and ensuring our comfort throughout. Breakfast was a delicious spread.

Finding the car parking was quite confusing initially, especially being in a large shopping center. A clearer guide on the website would be beneficial for first-time visitors.

The large room was a highlight, featuring comfortable beds that ensured a restful night. The hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, making it easy to explore various activities in the area. Service was attentive and the complimentary breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, including juicy steaks. However, the hotel's modern design felt somewhat bland, lacking character and warmth that would enhance the experience.

Perfect for a couple getaway

The hotel exceeded all my expectations. The breakfast buffet was exquisite, offering a mix of local and international dishes, the kind of spread that could make anyone’s morning. I loved that the room had a fine view, perfect for late-night reflections after a long day.

It wasn’t the most affordable option but honestly well worth it for what you get.

The pool was heated, which was great for evening swims. I enjoyed the view from our room significantly. The location was super convenient, right next to shopping centers and a movie theater. The fruit platter and wine in our honeymoon suite were a nice touch, too.

Parking was a bit of a puzzle, making the entrance to the hotel from the garage somewhat confusing. The air conditioning struggled a bit in the king room during my stay, although my companions in the twin room seemed fine. Additionally, the food at the restaurant on the 7th floor fell flat, particularly for someone who needed room service due to limited mobility.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with elegant design and offers seamless accessibility for senior guests, making it easy to navigate the areas without any hassle. The rooftop dining space provided stunning views, adding to my delightful experience.

More seating in common areas would be nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sonesta Hotel Bucaramanga! The location was perfect, nestled in a shopping center with everything we needed at our fingertips. The food was exceptional, and the room was very comfortable with great climate control and light-blocking curtains that helped us sleep soundly. The staff was super friendly and even provided games for our daughter, making our family trip even more enjoyable.

Traffic in the area can be a challenge.
